Bananas? Gorillaz

Much success on Friday for the Gorillaz Pop-Up Shop at the Southbank. Open for a mere four hours, we had hundreds of people coming through the doors to buy their limited edition Gorillaz book, and to get them signed by author Cass Browne and Gorillaz artist and co-creator Jamie Hewlett. In the chill wind, the fans faithfully lined up behind the barriers - even a pair of kind ladies who went back more than once to continue their conversations with "the lovely boys".

Thanks very much to everyone involved on the day, whether from Penguin, Gorillaz or the Southbank Centre, and thank you too, to all those lovely people who took the flyers from my Little Match Girl hands with such excitement.
