In sickness and in health

Why_do_people_get_ill For once, almost the whole of Team Penguin is in the office, just in time to pack up and ship off to Brick Lane. Since the start of the year, pretty much every day has seen someone laid low with head-ailments, stomach-complaints or other assorted illnesses. Yet now, with global warming perking up our sunny views and the invisible line crossed for summer holiday booking (too soon and the good-will momentum is lost, too late and no time to savour) Penguin HQ is once again fully-manned.

So why the difference? Can it really be that all bugs have melted away in the glare of the weak London sun? Or does Dr. Junior Copywriter surmise correctly that the correlation between health and spirit is more than just keeping off the vodka (boom boom)?

More info from a much more knowledgeable source here.

And if laughter's the best medicine, click here to get rid of those hard-to-shift colds... More of this medicine later in the year from the Surgery of McSweeney's.
